The wind is ripping. We've walked around, had a little breakfast. And now we are off to get our shirts.

Today I'm in Banff with some girlfriends. We are running Melissa's Road Race. I'm doing the 10k with Lizanne and Deb is running 22k. She rocks. We get to enjoy some beautiful scenery. Join us on our journey ;)

How sweet is that. Right now we are just waiting for Julia to finish kindergarten. We got here early. Yes, I said early. So here is a pic of Becca enjoying her apples. And a big plus for today, the sun came to visit, it's warm and sunny. Well maybe not super warm but it's sunny!!!

We Opted for Cucumbers Tonight

See this sweet girl...


Last night we had cafe rio pork and corn. This sweet little girl put some corn up her nose. So with aspirator and tweezers in hand, Becca pinned down we got the corn out. Tonight we had chicken, applesauce and cucumbers. They are a bit harder to shove up your nose I personally don't know that. I'm just assuming because they are larger. So far we are veggie nose free tonight!

There were some sweet deals at walmart this week. They were having their anniversary sale and I picked up a ton of tp and other stuff. I probably looked crazy. My cart was stuffed to the max. 4 packs of 24 rolls of tp. 2 containers of orange juice, 1 case of diapers, 10 jars of pasta sauce, 10 cans of Campbells soup, 4 reams of paper, 8 jars of assorted vitamins, 2-6 pack rolls of bounty paper towel, and a partridge in a pair tree.

Halloween is Coming...

We are already talking Halloween Costumes in our house! I have a big order to fill. The cool thing is, it's an even year so I get to pick costumes/theme. With some help and direction from the kiddos of course. Well, I'm off to the thrift store with Becca. Wish us luck. Hopefully I'll have a sneak peak for you later. Give you some clues as to what we are going to be this year. The whole family is getting dressed up. Even Shawn. Even if he doesn't like it ;) It's happening!
