This past weekend...

I ran ladiesfest with some of my besties this past weekend.

The weather was pretty decent.

The company was amazing.

Some memorable experiences were had.

I am so blessed to be able to call these women my friends.

That's my swimsuit pose ;)

After the race I was finally inspired to finish a project.

Race related.

Hope to fill a few more of these frames with bibs over the years.

Jump ahead to today...

It was Wacky Wednesday at the girls school today.

We went with wacky hair.

Miss Em was thrilled to wear a mohawk.

We had fun with Juju's hair. Bird nest :)

I'll still do some catch up posts. There is still 200+ photos and videos on my phone :)

Photo 78, 79, 80 of 448 and counting

Way back when the kids were off from school, I decided it was time to go through the stuffies they had accumulated over the years.

82 stuffies later, seriously... We donated a bunch and have limited them to 15, 5 each.

To me that still seems like a ton.

We did a photo shoot with the stuffies. The plan is to make each girl a quilt with pictures of their stuffies. So they still get to cuddle them ;)

I have to give Miss E full credit for the idea.

Catch-up through Pics

I was looking through the photos on my phone and realized, I have missed out on blogging a lot of fun things.

Also, I realized I should probably sync my phone. It's been awhile.

So here is Easter. In photos :)

E's Little Business

Unbeknown to us, E started a little business just over a month ago.

She has been selling custom made pencil toppers to her friends at school. She asks them what character or design they would like, takes the order and creates them at home. She came up with the price (50 cents) all by herself.

She has also decided that half of her money would go to the Alberta Children's hospital.

A very close friend of ours, has been there for quite some time with their daughter.

Over the last week or two I have been helping her crazy glue her creations for final delivery.

Last night, I saw my daughter through different eyes. She is such a caring and compassionate little girl. "it can't be easy for "A" up in Calgary. It must be really hard for her to be away from her family and friends. And it must be really hard to see "little E" struggle. I want to help!"

It may not be a large donation, but boy is her heart in the right place. We talked about how her money would not only help little E, but other children who do not have the health that she is so blessed with.

It was one of those moments that reminded me how blessed I am to have these sweet spirits in our home.
